Workshops, Clinics, Outings & Events

These single-class offerings are great if you don’t want to commit to a multi-week session, but still want to learn something new and fun. Workshops are perfect as a primer or to reinforce what you’ve already learned, clinics focus on wellness, and outings are seasonal adventures out in the real world! Events are one-time special activities at the dog center.

(If you’re interested in a longer engagement, learn more about our Specialty and Dog Sport Classes.)

Dremel Clinic

A Dremel is a great alternative to standard nail clippers. Dremels are hand-held devices that grind the nail down instead of clipping it short. With the proper preparation and technique, a Dremel session can be as relaxing as a spa treatment. Lisa and Dream Dremeler, Andrea Berberian, will demonstrate this method of cutting your dog’s nails. This 10-minute, one-on-one session includes a full, 4-paw trimming.

Our next Dremel Clinic is…

10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Microchip Clinic

While there is currently no Microchip Clinics on our schedule, we offer them periodically. Check back here for more information, or email barkback@allaboutmydog.com to request a clinic.

WHY MICROCHIP YOUR DOG?

Microchipping is safe, inexpensive, and protects your dog for its entire life. The procedure is simple and as pain-free as a shot. No anesthetic is required for a microchip implant. Microchips keep track of your pet if he or she wanders off. A Microchip is approximately the size of a grain of rice. It carries a single ID number which is entered into a database with your name, phone number and address. Microchipping is your best chance of bringing home your lost dog!

Already Microchipped?

If you’ve lost track of your dog’s microchip registration, this is a great opportunity to re-register your contact info!

Microchip Benifits

  • Shelters, clinics and veterinarians routinely scan new or unknown dogs for microchips, greatly increasing the chance you’ll get your lost dog back.
  • 1.2 million shelter dogs are euthanized yearly. Many of these are someone’s pet.
  • Microchips contain no batteries or moving parts. No upkeep is required, they don’t wear out and never need replacing.
  • Microchips are permanent, whereas collars, tags and other IDs can be lost, removed or even become illegible.
  • If your pet is on medication, finding your dog fast might save their life.
  • A microchip scan will reveal that a thief is not your dog’s rightful owner.
  • New smart products, like dog doors and food bowls, read microchips for added benefits and security.
