Community

All About My Dog is committed to building a community of dog lovers that goes beyond our classroom walls. Of course the bond we form with our students is the foundation of our community. But we invite all of our students and anybody interested in AAMD to help us pursue the betterment of the lives of dogs everywhere. This can be as simple as joining a conversation on our blog, learning more about our CGC program, or even just walking your dog through your community. Well-behaved dogs are great ambassadors!

Lisa Rockland’s amazing family of service providers, partners, and dog lovers who are committed to helping dogs and people in need is ever-expanding. If you’d like to get involved, or if you have any questions or suggestions about our community, leave us a comment here. Join us for this incredible journey!

Our Latest Partnership: Buddy Dog!

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Buddy Dog Humane Society, Inc. in Sudbury, MA.

Buddy Dog, founded in 1961, is devoted to the humane care of unwanted animals. They are a no-kill shelter, which means they only euthanize for humane reasons. Dogs and cats come from all over the country to stay in their well-ventilated, air conditioned facility with 32 indoor/outdoor runs, for as long as necessary. The relationship between Lisa Rockland and Buddy Dog goes back years during which Lisa has trained Buddy Dog’s shy, reactive and aggressive dogs, as well as participated in fund-raising events like Woofstock Dog Festival. In recognition of Lisa’s successful training techniques as well as the special relationship between our two organizations, Buddy Dog recommends Lisa Rockland and the All About My Dog team to all new placements.

Thank you, Buddy Dog! Keep up the amazing work. We look forward to working with you in the years ahead.
